Experience Two Degree in hot Singapore

Ice Art 2014 Singapore Marina Bay Shears Link

This holiday season, let Century Ice Wonderland (CIW) bring you a slice of The International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival (IISSF) from Harbin to sunny Singapore. Held inside a thermal-insulated hall kept at -15°C, the exhibition occupies some 50,280 sq feet of space and uses a total of 450 tons of crystal-clear and coloured ice blocks. It will be spilt into six exciting themes featuring the likes of London’s Big Ben, Paris’ Eiffel Tower and our very own Merlion, alongside towering sculptures as high as 4 meters. Sistic

The ice exhibition temperature is still not enough for my Harbin friend whom I went with. Her opinion was not too bad but standard was still far her homeland. For me, I thought it was smaller than expected. My experience was offset right from the start due to the rude service staff. Upon entering, I was greeted by a small ice figurine which later then I realised was Stamford Raffles, the founder of Singapore city.

Stamford Raffles

Best part was the slide. Although it was very tiring to carry the tyre float up the stairs, I enjoyed a lot with the thrill brought by the little hump at the middle. Almost flew when I slided down.
