As you know from my previous post, I am a craft hoarder who has too many buttons tucked in my drawer. Therefore, here is a post on tutorials I found on recycling buttons.
Just something I observed. Most button tutorials use fanciful or big buttons which I only have a few. Most of the time the buttons I own are small and plain. Usually taken from old garments.
Therefore, one solution I thought of before starting any recycle button tutorial is to decorate the plain buttons first.
- Give a new coat of colour with your nail polish, glitter glue or coloured markers.
- Add polka dots with correction liquid.
- Combine a few buttons to make a giant buttons as embellishment.
